About Apollo Electric INC -
For the past 36 years Apollo has been a primary source of used & reconditioned large electric motors & generator sets. Specializing in the supply of diesel generator sets ranging from 100-2850 KW with GM/EMD, Caterpillar, ALCO, & Cummins engines & reconditioning traction motors & D.C. drive systems for drilling, marine & rail use.
Apollo established itself first as a cost effective electric rebuild facility & second in the resale of reconditioned equipment in the after or secondary market.
With a 47,000 s.f. crane served warehouse, capacity to lift 110,000 LB skids & a 3600 KW load bank. Apollo is well known as a cost effective unitization location. With our dip & bake facility Apollo has one of the largest electrical rebuild shops in Texas. With our EMD & ALCO generator set inventory (at times) one of the largest in the USA. We have on average 200 A.C. generator ends in stock at a wide range of RPM's & KW's.
